HOW DOES THE HOTEL REFLECT THE DESTINATION?

With our recent 2024 renovation, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells looked to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscapes of Coachella Valley to inspire design. The colors and patterns in all of our accommodations reflect the peaceful palette of the desert terrain.

WHAT TYPES OF TRAVELERS IS THIS HOTEL BEST SUITED FOR (FAMILIES, COUPLES, BUSINESS, SOLO)?

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells is a versatile property welcoming travelers of all types. The spacious accommodations and kid-friendly activities including HyTides Waterpark, the largest waterpark in Coachella Valley, make this resort ideal for families with small children. With over 88,000 sq ft of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting space, Grand Hyatt Indian Wells welcomes hundreds of large groups each year. Adult leisure travelers enjoy the adult-only pool area, luxury villas, access to world-class golf, the award-winning Agua Serena Spa, and high-end culinary options.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES, AND ARE EARLY CHECK-INS OR LATE CHECK-OUTS AVAILABLE?

Check-in begins at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 11:00 am. Early check-in and late check-outs are available upon request and subject to availability.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE DAILY RESORT OR DESTINATION FEE (IF APPLICABLE)?

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells has a nightly resort fee of $45. Inclusions can be found here.

CAN I STORE MY LUGGAE BEFORE OR AFTER I CHECK OUT?

Yes, luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out.

Yes, our resort is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi in all of our spaces, including overnight accommodations. Each of our guestrooms, suites, and villas have desks with nearby outlets, making them the perfect place to WFH (work from hotel).

ARE ROLLAWAY BEDS AVAILABLE?

Yes, rollaway beds are available upon request for an additional $20/night.

ARE THERE HYPOALLERGENIC BEDDING OR PILLOW OPTIONS AVAILABLE?

Yes, hypoallergenic bedding is available upon request.

IS DAILY HOUSEKEEPING PROVIDED, AND CAN IT BE CUSTOMIZED?

Yes, daily housekeeping is provided and can be customized.

WHAT ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES ARE AVAILABLE IN GUEST ROOMS AND PUBLIC AREAS?

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells has ADA designed rooms with all features required for accessibility needs. Pool lifts are available at all pools and a ramp is located on the front drive for wheelchair access.

DOES MY ROOM HAVE A MINI FRIDGE?

All rooms, suites, and villas are equipped with cooler fridges.

DO YOU HAVE ROOM SERVICE?

Yes, room service is available from 7:00 am – 11:00 pm, daily.

WHAT IS THE CLOSEST AIRPORT OR MAJOT TRANSIT HUB TO THE HOTEL?

Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is 19 miles away from Grand Hyatt Indian Wells making it the closest airport to our resort.

What are the recommended local transportation options (rideshare, taxi, public transit)?

Rideshare and taxi services are the recommended transportation options to for resort.

Does the hotel provide shuttle or transfer services?

The resort does not provide airport transportation.

Is there valet parking?

Yes, valet is available for $17 for daily parking, $37 for overnight parking, and $47 for covered overnight parking.

Are there rental cars or bicycles available through the hotel or nearby partners?

No rental cars are available on the resort premises. However, bicycles are available to rent free of charge at our towel hut.

Does the hotel have a spa?

Yes, Agua Serena Spa is located at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells.

Are there EV chargers?

Yes, paid EV chargers are available.

Do I need to make a reservation for the on-site restaurants, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome for our onsite restaurants, however, reservations are strongly encouraged for dinner at Tía Carmen.

What type of wi=fi is provided, and is there an option for high-speed internet?

High-speed Wi-Fi is available for all guests.

Is the pool open all year?

Yes, the pool and waterpark areas at Grand Hyatt Indian Wells are open year-round.

Booking & Policies

What is the hotel's cancellation or change policy?

Reservations confirmed or changed by World of Hyatt Explorist or Globalist members can be cancelled until 11:59 pm the day before arrival, when the hotel’s cancellation period stated above is not more than 48 hours. This 24-hour cancellation period benefit is not valid for stays at Hyatt Vacation Club, Miraval resorts, or other non-participating hotels. It also does not apply: (i) to prepaid or non-refundable rates; (ii) when the cancellation period stated above is more than 48 hours; or (iii) for reservations book at corporate negotiated or group contract rates. This benefit is based on a member’s tier status at the time of cancellation. The cancellation windows are based on the hotel’s local time.
